Synopsis: Charles Dickens described London as "His magic lantern" as was the inspiration for his great works. The English capital truly gave him a full palette of life on which to draw background to many of his most famous books.
In the company of Dickens expert Tony Williams we visit his home in Doughty Street (now a museum dedicated to his life and works) where he completed Pickwick Papers, Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickleby and others. We then continue our tour with visits to other London sites which have been immortalized through such works as Little Dorrit, Bleak House, Great Expectations, David Copperfield and many, many more.
