Synopsis: Lynda Carter is Kate Carlin, a caring social worker suddenly drawn into a horrid reality of underworld mayhem. Babies are bought from troubled teenagers and then are placed into the hands of unstable parents for a fee. As Kate investigates the businessman believed to be responsible, the band of villains working for him puts her life in danger. Threatened and manipulated, she jeopardizes her job desperately trying to crack the operation wide open.
