Synopsis: It's Texas-sized trouble when the gunsmoke clears as Ranger "Rip" Metcalf (Kris Kristofferson), conman Billy Roy Barker (Willie Nelson) and gorgeous FBI agent Susan Davis (Joan Serverance), stand tall together to clear a fellow ranger, Captain Jack Parsons (Rip Torn), of murder charges. This is big city Austin with a web of police corruption, ol' time vigilantes and double-dealing, triple-crossing scoundrels. Metcalf and Barker can handle the firefight with the bad guys - but the burning smolder of sexy Agent Davis, now that's complicated! but a Texas Ranger's not afraid of a little heat!
