Synopsis: Chilling, cerebral drama about one blocked writer's decision to take his family to the remote (and haunted) hotel at which he's agreed to serve as a caretaker for the winter. But there's bad juju afoot and his son starts seeing gruesome images, while dad comes completely unglued and tries to chop his family into kindling. Based on the novel by Stephen King.
