Synopsis: Detective Conk Adams is haunted by past military experiences and his role as guardian for his mother who is hospitalized on life-support. Conk teams up with a young female archeologist, Catherine, who is hiding a critical condition that haunts her as well. The unlikely pair soon develop a deep bond as they attempt to unravel the mysterious death of a "bog body" found in a native swamp rumored to have curative powers.
