Synopsis: Shy, warm hearted, good looking Tim Dwight has two women crazy about him. One is a dream girl named Jill. The other is his mum. Brenda Blethyn (Secrets & Lies, Little Voice) teams with talented up and comers in this endearing comic gem and festival favorite. She plays Tim's mother Jean, a bawdy, aging comedienne who doesn't realize she's past her sell by date for a big break. As she struggles to make it in show biz, she also struggles to hold her family - including Tim and his disabled brother Mark - together. Will the arrival of Tim's dream girl bust them up? The answers come one joy, one heartbreak, one discovery and one Dwight at a time.
