Synopsis: In this newly-remastered, ero-guro classic - collected from the macabre stories of legendary Japanese horror author Edogawa Rampo - young medical student Hirosuke assumes the identity of a dead man in order to solve the mystery of a weird doppleganger. Traveling from circus sideshows to a desolate island, he discovers a web-fingered madman who surgically remakes normal human beings into misshapen monsters. But that is only the beginning, for Hirosuke has yet to learn the shocking truth about the strange island and his family's shameful past.
