College student, Mindy (Rachel Miner, The Black Dahlia, Penny Dreadful), and her classmates Cassandra (Taryn Manning, Hustle & Flow, Cold Mountain, 8 Mile) and Alex (Joel Michaely, Factory Girl, Wonderland, The Rules of Attraction) are researching an extinct local cult for a class project. Their investigation uncovers a magical jade amulet of ancient Chinese origin, which was regarded as the source of the cult’s power, and demise. Now, the overachieving students have unearthed Kwan Yin's amulet, and unleashed its supernatural powers that may take their lives...and their souls!
