Synopsis: As telegraph transmissions click-clack across the West, tribal drums begin to pound. Indians go on the warpath when a scheming settler convinces them that the cross-country "singing wires" will be used to call in horse soldiers to attack them.
In the fourth of his six Warner Bros. films from the early 1930s, John Wayne saddles up stallion Duke and portrays cavalry scout John Trent. Yakim Canutt, the rodeo star and pioneering stuntman who became Wayne's friend as well as mentor in the cowboy way, plays bold warrior High Wolf. And excerpts from a 1926 Ken Maynard film provide the fiery waves of battle. Circle the wagons, men!
