On May 27th 1995, Christopher Reeve, known throughout the world for his role as Superman, was paralyzed from the neck down in a riding accident. This intimate portrait focuses on Chris' remarkable recovery of movement and his constant fight to fully regain his mobility.
These two documentaries follow Chris closely over many months of treatment and public campaigning for funds for stem cell research. It shows his struggle to keep his hope alive. Everyday aspects of his family life are combined with regular visits to a medical center, documenting his recovery beginning with the movement of a single finger.
