Synopsis: How do you illustrate the vision at the center of Milford Beeghly's career? In rather unusual form, using animations of dancing ears of corn, snippets of old commercials, and visual meditations on the rich Midwest farmland that nurtured Beeghly's faith in the miracles of hybridization. Using dry wit, the film describes the sexuality of corn while delving deep into one family's complex relationships with an eccentric man who finds solace in the whispers of rustling cornfields.
