Betrayed from within and overwhelmed by dark magic, the kingdom of Pars has fallen, overrun by the fanatical warriors of Rucitania.
Young Prince Arslan, the sole heir of Pars, escapes the ruins of his homeland. A fugitive hero, he assembles a company of five extraordinary allies - a priestess, an exiled warrior, a minstrel, and an artist and his aide.
