In a small southern town, the Klan is the secret power. It controls the politics, it controls the police. So when a Klan leader is murdered, it becomes easy to find a suspect: Jerry Robinson (Courtney B. Vance), the county' only black cop. In this explosive action thriller, one cop's color hasp laced him on the wrong side of the thin blue line, and the only thing that's keeping him alive is a witness to the murder - the Klan leader's son.
Now it's a fearful race against time to find the killer before he finds them. Their only hope lives in the one cop on the force they can trust: Lucy Monroe (Virginia Madsen). When everything you believe in turns out to be a lie, you learn to trust no one...unless you're holding a gun.
