Synopsis: Joe and Fletcher (Campbell Scott), two city slickers on a weekend hunting retreat, are only looking for rest and relaxation when they come across a helpless young woman being attacked by a crazed backwoods hick. In an intense fight for the young woman's honor, Joe is murdered while Fletcher is left seriously injured from the attack. Dying and helpless, Fletcher is taken in by the Campbells, a caring family living in seclusion within the forest. The Campbells nurse Fletcher back to health and it seems as if everything will be fine...that is until Fletcher learns that the family has been dead for 50 years!
