What do you get when you mix dogs, cats, birds, horses and rabbits in the same place? The Paws & Claws Animal Shelter! For Kat, Dylan and Jill, who run Paws & Claws, everyday life is a series of challenging, yet heart- warming adventures. They love and care for their animal friends, including Scoot, a fun- loving Dalmatian pup who is abandoned on their doorstep and immediately wins them over. Jill knows that money is tight, but when she learns that they are about to lose the shelter to a greedy land developer, they all are determined to prevent this disaster. If the shelter closes, where will the animals go? Who will love them and take care of them?
