Synopsis: After devoting years to research, an astronomer finally receives a mysterious message from elsewhere in the galaxy. Whether the message will lead to the destruction of civilization, to contact with extra-terrestrials, or to something else entirely is up for question—as is the woman's relationship with an attractive man who firmly believes in God.
