Synopsis: Jean Gilkyson and her young daughter Griff are on the run from her abusive boyfriend and decide to seek refuge at her father-in-law Einar's ranch. Having blamed Jean for his only son's death, Einar finds it hard to rekindle acquaintances even with the help of his only friend Mitch. In time, both Jean and Einar learn to forgive and forget the past and cherish what is truly important in life.
