Synopsis: In her senior year in high school, overachiever Tracy Flick lives for one thing, and one thing only: winning the school election and becoming class president. She wants it so desperately that she works day and night on her campaign, baking cupcakes for the whole school and talking herself up to everyone she meets. The school counselor, Jim McAllister, thinks Tracy is a bit unbalanced, and he tips the political scales in favor of her opponent, a dull-witted, popular boy. When Tracy gets wind of this, and other more damaging facts about the counselor, she channels her campaign energy into ruthless acts that could ultimately defame Mr. McAllister.
