Sweepings
After the Great Chicago Fire, and motivated by impending fatherhood, Daniel Pardway opens a small store called the Bazaar. The store expands, becoming continuously more successful, and Daniel's wife, Abigail, continues to have children. But, after giving birth to her fourth child, Abigail dies, leaving Daniel to raise them all on his own. As he gets older, Daniel must choose which of his children, if any, will run the Bazaar after he is gone.
