Carlton-Browne of the F.O.
When the king of Gaillardia dies, the tiny nation's resources and location in the Pacific draw the interest of world powers. Great Britain has long enjoyed rights to Gaillardia's mineral deposits. However, the monarch's death places them in jeopardy, necessitating the dispatch of diplomat Carlton-Browne to meet with Prime Minister Amphibulos. Unfortunately, the former's bumbling, the latter's obtuseness and a revolution threaten to undermine everything.
