Synopsis: The Corsican coast is dotted by wooden crosses marking the graves of fascist soldiers felled by American forces. At an American base affectionately known as the "country club," the Air Force initiates "Operation Stranglehold," a bombing campaign aimed at the Axis-controlled railroads and designed to block supplies from the front lines. Allied P-47 fighter pilots struggle to hit their narrow targets and bring freedom to the impoverished families suffering under Mussolini's fascist regime.
