Synopsis: Cowboy Gene Autry assumes guardianship of Lou Ann Stevens when she's paralyzed in a secret attack by her father's partner, Martin, that left her father dead. As Martin searches for a gold mine under the Stevens' ranch, Gene struggles to raise money for Lou Ann's surgery by working for a covered wagon coffee company and performing along the trail. Also trying to solve Stevens' murder, Gene runs into trouble with his boss's daughter, Helen.
