Synopsis: Jo March has left the March family (of "Little Women" fame) and married professor Bhaer. Together, they run a boarding school, helping raise spirited and troubled boys. Con man Maj. Burdle brings in Dan, a friend's son. With the school in need of $5,000, Bhaer entrusts Burdle with investing his savings. When Burdle loses the money, the school must come up with replacement funds before the bank forecloses.
