Synopsis: Captain Scarlett returns to France to discover the Duke of Corlaine seizing property and terrorizing those who resist. When Scarlett helps Spanish Princess Maria escape an arranged marriage, he is arrested and placed in chains, along with Pierre Du Cloux, whose lands were confiscated, forcing him to become an outlaw. Scarlett and Pierre break out, rescue Maria and set about rousing the peasants to resist the duke's tyranny.
