Synopsis: Slick Southern governor Gabby Harrigan realizes that the voters' moods are directly related to the record of his state's college football team, so he dips into government funds to bulk up the school's athletic roster. Coach Stevens makes the most of the resources he has, resulting in a team that features former professional wrestlers and an ace female kicker, but things go awry when the governor's shenanigans are revealed on the eve of the big game.
