Frau Holle Synopsis: A widow has an ugly, lazy daughter and a beautiful, dilligent step-daughter. When the latter drops a spindle into a well, she must jump in to retrieve it. Mary lands on a meadow, where she meets Frau Holle, whose bedding she now shakes out daily, so that it can snow on earth. When she returns home, she is rewarded with gold. Her envious step-sister wants the same, so she jumps into the well, too. But will she overcome her laziness for Frau Holle?
