Synopsis: Marilyne and Bruno arrive in a mountain village to move into an apartment they rented from Patrick Castang, developer and owner of many houses in the area. Happy to leave the north of France to start a new life, they accept when Castang asks them to stay temporarily in another luxurious chalet because theirs is not finished. Then will follow a series of setbacks that will lead them to move many times, with the growing feeling to be treated without regard. The bitterness fueled by jealousy, envy and frustration, eventually become hatred.
