Planet Food: Spice Trails Special
Although spices might have some medicinal properties, there is little nutrition in them, but their mysticism has affected the world throughout history. In this remarkable journey, Planet Food traverses the entire world and over five millennia, seeing how the battle for control of the spice trade made great cities and destroyed ancient civilizations cooks and tastes a variety of signature dishes including Cantonese shark fin soup, paper wrapped baked chicken, chili crab and more.
