Synopsis: While working at his tiny store, miserly shopkeeper Arkwright (Ronnie Barker) spends most of his time harassing his nephew and employee Granville (David Jason), devising new ways to sell overstocked goods and trying to impress the lovely Nurse Gladys (Lynda Baron). Perpetually indecisive customer Mavis (Maggie Ollerenshaw) and persnickety Mrs. Blewett (Kathy Staff) add to Arkwright's aggravation in this British comedy series.
