Shinsengumi Chronicles: I Want To Die A Samurai

Synopsis: RaizoIchikawa stars as a honest man, Susumu Yamazaki, who joins the Shinsengumiout of admiration for its leader, Isami Kondo (TomisaburoWakayama), and because he wants to live and die as a samurai. But as his involvement grows, reality and idealism come into deadly conflict. As the winds of change sweep Japan, the Shinsengumiwage a desperate battle to defend the Shogunate. Their tragic, real-life tale is one of the most revered in Japanese history.
