Synopsis: Because he's the son of a political leader in town, Billy Baker struggles to fit in. When he rescues an injured hawk from the prying eyes of a hunting fox, Billy takes a hawk - against the advice of his father - to Mr. McGraw (Oscar winner Burl Ives), the town outcast who has a way with animals. As the two nurse the hawk back to health, the bond between boy, bird, and misunderstood recluse sparks newfound courage and confidence in Billy. A coming-of-age story of acceptance, Baker's Hawk is a warmhearted film for the whole family.
