Synopsis: From celebrated director Claude Chabrol comes the darkly sensual A Girl Cut in Two (La fille coupÃ©e en deux). A young writer, Gabrielle, is torn between two wealthy lovers: Charles, a middle-ages writer; and Paul, the heir to a pharmaceutical fortune. Vying for Gabrielle's attention, the two men form an intense rivalry. They both claim to love her, but their motives, and the tactics they will resort to, remain unclear.
