Synopsis: Mitsy lives in a small town with her overbearing grandmother after she is abandoned by her crack-addicted mother. Though she dreams of being a hairdresser, her immediate world revolves around a small dog named Sparky. Mitsy's world is shaken up when her mother returns home causing turmoil in the family.
