Synopsis: When Warren (Daniels) shoots his wife Helen’s lover, he defends his actions by saying that he thought he was shooting an intruder. Joan Allen plays Helen, the distraught spouse whose life goes from bad to worse when she begins an affair with her lawyer, who also has a gay lover on the side. This somber look at the effect handguns can have on peoples’ lives in modern society stars Jeff Daniels (“Dumb and Dumberâ€) and Joan Allen (“The Contenderâ€) as the couple whose lives are ripped apart after the shooting.
