In this intense re-make of Robert Rossen’s 1947 classic, pro boxer Ray Mancini plays an ambitious small-time fighter who travels to Reno with his loyal friend (Chiklis) to seek his fame and fortune, but winds up climbing over the people he cares for the most on his way to the top.
