Synopsis: Juan, an older man of Mayan ancestry, falls victim to a mining accident and embarks on a hallucinatory journey in a Yucatan underground cave world. He is guided along by Vera, an attenuated blue spirit. Through an entirely unique series of visual transformations, Juan is catapulted at once into a realm of Mayan mysticism and visions of the future.
