Synopsis: A group of Hell's Angels terrorize the young bikini clad girls in a Northern California town. Their parents are helpless. The townsfolk live in fear. The local police are powerless. The only hope is a loner no one knows anything about -- a half-breed Vietnam veteran named Billy Jack.
Tom Laughlin had written the script for Billy Jack in the 1950s but couldn't get anyone interested in a film about Indians -- half-breed or otherwise. So Tom toned down the Indian and political themes and wrote Born Losers, the first film the Billy Jack character ever appeared in.
