Diary Of A Suicide
While cruising the Mediterranean with a tour group, the guide becomes infatuated with the interpreter, an enigmatic woman who hides behind her sunglasses. Instead of rebuffing his advances, she challenges him: "Tell me a beautiful story."
The guide proceeds to entertain her with his tall tales, but his most intriguing yarn is beyond belief. It's the strange tale of two anarchists who bomb a politician's residence, killing everyone except a young girl. The girl is guarded by a brain-damaged man who retains only one memory, and when that recollection is gone, he plans to kill himself.
