Synopsis: This lush, sophisticated biopic tells the story of Alma Schindler (Wynter) and Gustav Mahler (Pryce), a famous composer of classical music. After many years of marriage, Alma feels stifled and neglected, and embarks on a series of affairs. One of her lovers discovers her own musical compositions and insists that they be exposed to the public.
