Horatio Hornblower: The New Adventures

Synopsis: The ultimate high-seas hero, Horatio Hornblower is a man of unshakable courage, high principles, and matchless skill. Now, C.S. Forester's beloved mariner returns to the screen with two new films. Loyalty finds Horatio marooned in peacetime Portsmouth, living off his superb card playing skills. But with the winds of war stirring, Hornblower is given command of the sloop Hotspur. Duty sees Horatio jumping into wedded bliss, and then returning to his command to face a French fleet that is preparing for invasion - aided by an old nemesis.
