Synopsis: Cutting edge feature Faustbook explores the life of a troubled mortician, Faustus, who embarks upon a dark odyssey through his work in search for truth about life and death. As he delves deeper and deeper into the dark labyrinths of discovery he encounters the devil, which offers Faustus answers for his life long questions, in return for his soul. As time draws near, Faustus has one last chance to save himself before the deal is sealed. An uncanny parallel to the movie is the untimely and controversial passing of the films key actor, Jacob Faust, who was shot dead by San Diego police on April 4th 2005.
