Synopsis: Rocklin is a good man to have around. Can work the range or a poker game. And since he's played by John Wayne, that makes him even better! Packed with starpower and hoof-and-thunder excitement, Tall In The Saddle stands tall with Western fans. Saddling up with Wayne is fellow cowpoke legend George "Gabby" Hayes, the best whisker-faced, gibberish-jabbering sidekick ever to fall off a buckboard or bail out a pal. The story opens with Rocklin stepping off a train to land work on a nearby ranch. But there may be more to his intensions than meets the eye. A wary town bigwig (Ward Bond) has his suspicions. An untamed cowgirl (Ella Raines) has her guns. And when the dust settles, Rocklin will have his two-fisted plan for justice perfectly in place.
