Indio, El
At a time when Mexico was still ruled by land barons and local chieftains, the owner of a hacienda mistreats and abuses his native workers. The hacienda owner and his partner try to fool Julián, a native, into taking them to the place where the local archeological treasures are. When Julián refuses, they try to hang him, but Felipe, another native (played by Pedro Armendáriz), saves him and starts a rebellion of the indigenous people against the landowners and chieftains of the region.
