Synopsis: Newly promoted, Detective Superintendent Jane Tennison is still battling the male dominated bureaucracy of the police force on an almost daily basis. With only a handful of officers she can truly rely on, and with little that resembles a private life outside of her work, she is about to take on three challenging cases of murder and corruption, one of which will stir up a past that should have remained buried.
