Synopsis: Huge mother-ships from an alien species sneak ominously into orbit around earth. Lethal, bat-winged fighters descend to the planet. Citizens are abducted and homes are destroyed. The invasion has begun.
Two deputies transport a pair of prisoners to county jail, along with the sheriff, who has no way of knowing that his town is the target of the first alien attack. They are all stuck in a thunderstorm.
