Synopsis: Describes the Rural Studio founded by Samuel Mockbee and D.K. Ruth of the Department of Architecture at Auburn University. Through the Rural Studio, architecture students design and build affordable housing, often from unusual materials, in an economically depressed rural area in Alabama.
