Liane, Jungle Goddess Synopsis: A beautiful blonde in a loincloth lives among the African natives and is worshiped as a goddess. When an expedition from Europe arrives and believes she is the heiress of a wealthy German businessman, they capture and bring her back to civilizations. On the voyage home she halls in love with handsome trip leader Thoren (Hardy Kruger). Now in Germany and learning the ways of modern society. Liane finds herself framed for murder by a jealous relative, leaving only Thoren to protect his innocent mistress. Released as an adult-only feature in the US in 1959, Liane raised eyebrows with Marion Michaels' brief topless nude scenes.
