Madonna: Girlie Show
Combining elements of Studio 54, Motown, Broadway, Las Vegas, and Cirque Du Soleil, she creates such a show that non-fans attend her performances just to see what she does onstage. From the circus, to theatre, to disco, to revue, she covers all bases on this extravaganza in support of her 1992 "Erotica" album. With a 10-person dance troupe, 7-piece band, and 2 backup vocalists, she performs songs like "Deeper And Deeper", "Rain", and "Erotica", plus several old tracks. This concert was broadcasted live on HBO from Sydney, Australia in November 1993, and won a Cable Ace award for best special production on TV.
