Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Complete Season 1
Where it began... (2 out of 2 people agreed with this review)

The first season is not it's best, but it set the scene well an introduces the major charaters we would all go on to love. As with many first seasons, buffy takes some time to find it's feet and therefore most of the the episodes in this box are stand alone ones. Even the worst episode of buffy is better than most TV...this gets a strong 9 because of the sheer pringles factor...once u start u just can't stop

The disks are well presented, the video isn't great but it was shot on 16mm so this is as good as it will probably ever look. The audio is in dolby 2.0 and is surround...but there is almost nothin from the surrounds. It is clear and free from distorion though. The first 2 episodes feature commentary from Joss Whedon...they are good tracks, hes funny and offers plenty of info. The featurette is is useless....an everythin else is pretty basic...unless ur interested in scripts...which are there for the first 2 episodes.
