One of the best tongue-in-cheek cartoon-inspired movies ever. Von Sydow is the quintessential Ming, just as much as Sam J. Jones is the perfect Flash. The supporting cast includes Timothy Dalton (James Bond), Brian Blessed (BlackAdder I), Topol (Fiddler on the Roof), Melody Anderson (All My Children), and even Richard O'Brien (Rocky Horror Picture Show). But the jewel is Ornella Muti as the evil but sexy princess. It'll never win any Academy Awards, but that doesn't mean it's not an all-time CLASSIC!

Great music on a fair movie, a little campy, B-Movieish you could call it. Flash and the sexy dale have to save the world from the evil Ming. With the birdmen and others come to save the day. Acting is at best fair with the exception of Ming played by Max Von Sydow who is always good on screen. I great cult film even if it's not the best in the world. A must have for any collection.
